How SolidLankans Cricket Club handles your personal data.
What we collect
When you register we ask for your name and email address, and your title, gender, nationality, race, residential address, company and occupation. We also keep a profile photo (optional) and your membership type and dates.
Why we collect it
To run the club: keep the member register, contact you about fixtures and club business, and confirm your membership to partner businesses when you show your card. We ask for your title, gender, nationality, race, residential address, company and occupation for the club’s member register.
Who sees it
Committee members with an administrative role. Your residential address is shown only to club admins, masked unless they choose to reveal it, and never exported, shown to partners or written to the club’s activity log. Your availability answers for matches, with any note or feedback, are seen only by club admins; other members and committee members see totals only. Partner businesses see only your name, photo, member number and whether your membership is current when they scan your card. We never sell or share your data for marketing.
Partner offers
Partner businesses never receive your details. When they scan your card they see your name, photo, member number and whether your membership is current, and nothing is sent to them when you open an offer.
Club photos
Team and match photos chosen by the committee appear on this website, including the public gallery. If you’re in a photo you’d rather not have online, contact our Data Protection Officer below and we’ll take it down. Location and camera details are removed from every photo before it’s published.
Platform support
This website runs on a platform built for cricket clubs. A small number of the platform’s support staff can see club data to keep the service running and to help the committee when asked. They sign in with an extra security step, can only change anything during a time-limited support session, and every change they make is recorded and shows in the club’s activity log as “Platform support”.
Where it lives
On secure cloud services (Supabase and Vercel) with access restricted by role. We keep records for as long as you are a member plus a reasonable period for club history, then anonymise them.
Your rights
You can view and correct your details in the member portal at any time. To request a copy of your data, withdraw consent, or ask us to delete your record, contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@solidlankans.com.
